This is my favorite tool for handling high hydration dough. It scrapes under the dough, un-sticking the dough ball from the counter, can help during shaping, cuts the dough when smaller portions are needed, helps in transferring the dough to bannetons, and is fantastic at collecting the excess flour during clean up. (using a wet rag makes a gummy mess)

I love having wood elements in my kitchen. They are not easily deformed, lightweight, durable, don't conduct heat, and made from natural materials. With this simple design, comfortable handle, wide blade and beautiful design, it's a must have in any bakers kitchen.

Beautiful wood products

I love it!!!! I love wood products so this scraper is wonderful! I also love the Perfectly Imperfect Spurtle. Its so pretty and I'm finding so many uses for it. I don't see anything imperfect about it!
