I use the snack size for storing veggies in the fridge drawers. One for celery, one for carrots and one for mushrooms. No more wilting in the plastic bags and containers you buy them in! I tried paper bags (which tore easily in the drawer) for mushrooms, they dehydrated and wrinkled if not used promptly. The snack size beeswax bag kept them a couple weeks! If some of the carrots are really long, I cut them in half to fit in the bag to keep them fresh. I’m sticking with these!

Waxed bags work wonderfully in average to humid conditions, but they can be a bit tricky in cold or dry environments. By design, the bags allow excess moisture to escape, which helps prevent mold growth by keeping the crust from becoming overly damp. However, in lower humidity, they can sometimes allow too much moisture to evaporate from the bread. Because of this, performance of the bags can vary widely depending on geographic location.

After 1 day, I noticed my bread was getting stale. After 2 days it was getting hard - good for maybe French toast, but definitely not suitable for sandwiches. Buying these was a waste of money.
